For each plant: - two pages and two illustrations. On the first one the flower appears alone, without any background. On the second page, the flower becomes a part of a composition, and its background is a geometric pattern, the components of which, properly coloured, can complement the beauty of the flower.
In the presented here, more elaborated version, you will find notes about the symbolism of the flowers, their significance in ancient myths and in art history, as well as the colour samples in case you are not familiar with the specific plant.
